Research Bio

Amer is uses theory and experiments to study the dynamics of the microtubule severing enzyme spastin on shrinking microtubules.  Amer Al-Hiyasat is the 2021 awardee of the Russell Henry Chittenden Prize, and is planning to attended graduate school next year.
